Heresy: Francis Says That Making Efforts To Convert
Others To Catholicism Is A Mortal Sin
Others To Catholicism Is A Mortal Sin
"The problem of ecumenism. Never fight! Let the theologians study the abstract realities of theology. But what should I do with a friend, neighbour, an Orthodox person? Be open, be a friend. “But should I make efforts to convert him or her?” There is a very grave sin against ecumenism: proselytism. We should never proselytise the Orthodox! They are our brothers and sisters, disciples of Jesus Christ. “And so what should I do?” Do not condemn. No. I must not do this. Friendship, walking together, praying for one another. Praying and carrying out works of charity together, when this is possible. This is ecumenism. But never condemn a brother or a sister, never refrain from greeting an Orthodox brother or sister because they are Orthodox."
Proselytism is to recruit or to convert. Antipope Francis says we should never “make efforts to convert” the “Orthodox” schismatics to the Catholic faith! He even says that it is a grave sin to try to convert them to Catholicism! This is more undeniable proof that he’s a notorious heretic and not the pope of the Holy Roman Catholic Church. As we can see in this quote, Francis understands proselytism as trying to “convert” someone, and he rejects it. Indeed, Francis frequently rejects trying to “convert” non-Catholics and equates it with “proselytism”. In this case he says trying to convert (or proselytize) the schismatics is a “grave sin”.
In short, Francis’ message is: “Don't become Catholic”. Why does anyone listen to this fool? What Francis teaches stands in direct contradiction to perennial Catholic teaching. Here’s the real Catholic teaching by contrast:
Pope Eugene IV, Council of Florence, “Cantate Domino,” 1441, ex cathedra:
“The Holy Roman Church firmly believes, professes and preaches that all those who are outside the Catholic Church, not only pagans but also Jews or heretics and schismatics, cannot share in eternal life and will go into the everlasting fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels, unless they are joined to the Church before the end of their lives; that the unity of this ecclesiastical body is of such importance that only for those who abide in it do the Church’s sacraments contribute to salvation and do fasts, almsgiving and other works of piety and practices of the Christian militia produce eternal rewards; and that nobody can be saved, no matter how much he has given away in alms and even if he has shed blood in the name of Christ, unless he has persevered in the bosom and unity of the Catholic Church.”

The Orthodox Church is schismatic and heretical according to Catholic teaching. It is completely illogical and false. The Orthodox reject the last 13 Councils of the Catholic Church. reject the dogma of papal infallibility, purgatory, and the Immaculate Conception. They allow divorce and remarriage and others. The Catholic Church teaches that those who reject one dogma reject all Faith.
"And, therefore, it was no more allowable to repudiate one iota of the Apostles' teaching than it was to reject any point of the doctrine of Christ Himself. . ."There can be nothing more dangerous than those heretics who admit nearly the whole cycle of doctrine, and yet by one word, as with a drop of poison, infect the real and simple faith taught by our Lord and handed down by Apostolic tradition" (Auctor Tract. de Fide Orthodoxa contra Arianos). . .The practice of the Church has always been the same, as is shown by the unanimous teaching of the Fathers, who were wont to hold as outside Catholic communion, and alien to the Church, whoever would recede in the least degree from any point of doctrine proposed by her authoritative Magisterium. . .In this wise, all cause for doubting being removed, can it be lawful for anyone to reject any one of those truths without by the very fact falling into heresy?-without separating himself from the Church?-without repudiating in one sweeping act the whole of Christian teaching? For such is the nature of faith that nothing can be more absurd than to accept some things and reject others. Faith, as the Church teaches, is "that supernatural virtue by which, through the help of God and through the assistance of His grace, we believe what he has revealed to be true, not on account of the intrinsic truth perceived by the natural light of reason, but because of the authority of God Himself, the Revealer, who can neither deceive nor be deceived" (Conc. Vat., Sess. iii., cap. 3). If then it be certain that anything is revealed by God, and this is not believed, then nothing whatever is believed by divine Faith: for what the Apostle St. James judges to be the effect of a moral deliquency, the same is to be said of an erroneous opinion in the matter of faith. "Whosoever shall offend in one point, is become guilty of all" (Ep. James ii., 10). Nay, it applies with greater force to an erroneous opinion. For it can be said with less truth that every law is violated by one who commits a single sin, since it may be that he only virtually despises the majesty of God the Legislator. But he who dissents even in one point from divinely revealed truth absolutely rejects all faith, since he thereby refuses to honour God as the supreme truth and the formal motive of faith. "In many things they are with me, in a few things not with me; but in those few things in which they are not with me the many things in which they are will not profit them" (S. Augustinus in Psal. liv., n. 19). And this indeed most deservedly; for they, who take from Christian doctrine what they please, lean on their own judgments, not on faith; and not "bringing into captivity every understanding unto the obedience of Christ" (2 Cor. x., 5), they more truly obey themselves than God. "You, who believe what you like, believe yourselves rather than the gospel" (S. Augustinus, lib. xvii., Contra Faustum Manichaeum, cap. 3)."
Pope Benedict XV, Ad Beatissimi Apostolorum, November 1, 1914:
"Such is the nature of Catholicism that it does not admit of more or less, but must be held as a whole or as a whole rejected: “This is the Catholic faith, which unless a man believe faithfully and firmly; he cannot be saved” (Athanas. Creed). There is no need of adding any qualifying terms to the profession of Catholicism: it is quite enough for each one to proclaim “Christian is my name and Catholic my surname,” only let him endeavour to be in reality what he calls himself."

The Orthodox Sect is not the true Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ. It is the religion of damnation!
Pope Pius IX, Apostolic Letter Iam Vos Omnes:
"Now, whoever will carefully examine and reflect upon the condition of the various religious societies, divided among themselves, and separated from the Catholic Church, which, from the days of our Lord Jesus Christ and his Apostles has never ceased to exercise, by its lawful pastors, and still continues to exercise, the divine power committed to it by this same Lord; cannot fail to satisfy himself that neither any one of these societies by itself, nor all of them together, can in any manner constitute and be that One Catholic Church which Christ our Lord built, and established, and willed should continue; and that they cannot in any way be said to be branches or parts of that Church, since they are visibly cut off from Catholic unity."

The Vatican II sect is a huge manifestation of evil at the very least, a Counter Church of the Devil. Well, Antipope Francis loves Eastern Orthodoxy. That should tell you something. If the Orthodox Church were true, the Vatican II antipopes would hate it. The Vatican II antipopes, whose mission from the Devil is to embrace all the major violations of God’s truth in history (the pagan religions, the Islamic religion, the heretical sects and the Easter Orthodox schism) because the Devil knows that Eastern Orthodoxy was one of those major movements of rejection of God’s truth by which he has ensnared millions of souls.
The only acceptable aim for a real Catholic Pope is to bring our separated brethren to the Roman Catholic Church and to make them realize that:
Pope Pius XI, Mortalium Animos, January 6, 1928:
““That unity can only arise from one teaching authority, one law of belief and one faith of Christians. . .So, Venerable Brethren, it is clear why this Apostolic See has never allowed its subjects to take part in the assemblies of non-Catholics: for the union of Christians can only be promoted by promoting the return to the one true Church of Christ of those who are separated from it, for in the past they have unhappily left it...Let these separated children return to the Apostolic See established in this city which the Princes of the Apostles, Peter and Paul, consecrated with their blood, to this See, ‘the root and matrix of the Catholic Church,’ not indeed with the idea or hope that the Church of the living God, the pillar and ground of truth will abandon the integrity of the Faith and bear their errors, but to subject themselves to its teaching authority and rule. For since the mystical body of Christ, in the same manner as His physical body, is one, compacted and fitly joined together, it were foolish and out of place to say that the mystical body is made up of members which are disunited and scattered abroad: whosoever therefore is not united with the body is no member of it, neither is he in communion with Christ its head.”
